Dave Pigram

Dave Pigram is a computational designer, robotic fabrication researcher and co-director of the international, award winning architecture and innovation practice supermanoeuvre cofounded in 2006 with Iain Maxwell. His work has been widely exhibited internationally including at multiple Venice and Beijing Architecture Biennales, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France, the New York’s Storefront for Art and Architecture, USA, and is in the permanent collection of the FRAC Orléans, France. He has previously served as director of the Masters of Advanced Architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia, as a visiting professor of practice at the University of Michigan, USA and as a research affiliate at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, USA. In addition he has taught at Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning in London, England, at the Architecture Association in London, England, at the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain, at the Princeton University in New Jersey, USA, at the Pratt Institute in New York, USA, at the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands as well as at the Aarhus School of Architecture, Denmark. He was a project leader at Studio Daniel Libeskind on projects such as the 5.5 Billion Euro Cape Grace scheme to expand Monaco.
